Lithium battery production equiped with Cotes dehumidifiers

Exceptionally low moisture content in production areas is vital in the effective production of lithium-ion batteries.

When Nexeon set up a new fully automated plant for production of silicon anodes, the company’s clean room was delivered by Scientific Climate Systems Ltd., fitted with dehumidification equipment supplied by Cotes.

A CRP40000 unit processes 13,000 cubic metres of air each hour, achieving a dew point as low as -74.5°C.

Nexeon found that the new Cotes equipment was more reliable and uses less energy than the dehumidifiers they had previously used.
